Emergency Shelter Management Training!  Buena Vista County Emergency Management is partnering with the SALUD! Multi-cultural Health Coalition to recruit and train volunteers who would like to assist with the set up and staffing of an emergency shelter. The main talent needed to assist with setting up and staffing a shelter is a desire to support your friends and neighbors after a disaster.

The American Red Cross will teach our first training on Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 9am-2pm at Our Place, 114 E Third St, Storm Lake. Lunch will be provided.

You can pre-register by contacting: Aimee Barritt, BV Co Emergency Management at 712-749-2705 or at aimee.barritt@bvema.com. Please include your name and phone number in the email, along with any organization that you represent.
